Reading and Research at your fingertips!

The Christopher Brennan Library has over 3500 ebooks available through ePlatform by Wheelers, which is downloadable onto your laptop and mobile devices.

The books are borrowed for two weeks and are automatically returned.

1. Go to the Wheelers website.
2. Sign in with your student login. 
3. Tap 'Start Browsing'. 
4. Tap 'Borrow' to borrow an ebook
5. Tap 'Read' to read in browser, the book will start to download.
6. To borrow an audiobook, filter the search by choosing Format, and ticking the Audiobook box. 
7. The grey speaker icon appears at the bottom of each image indicating it is an audiobook. 

Garth Nix’s latest book is set in an alternate version of London in 1983 and follows the story of Susan Arkshaw, a young woman whose hunt for her unknown father leads into a dangerous world of mythical monsters and legendary beings, policed by a secret organisation of magical booksellers.

ePlatform by Wheelers has an app to access their content via mobile devices - both Android and IOS.

Click on the image above to access https://www.audible.com.au/, an amazon company. Extensive collection of audiobooks for purchase. Can also access a wide range of Podcasts too. Audible.com.au is a subscription service that can be cancelled at any time. Cost is $16.45 a month. Once you have signed up you have access to one free audiobook.

Click on the image above to access Scribd.com. Scribd brings together fiction and non-fiction ebooks, audiobooks, news articles and sheet music. First 30 days free then $9.99 a month. 

Lit2go is a free online collection of classic stories and poems in audiobook format. Each book can also be downloaded as a pdf and used in classroom settings.
