All About Reading

SpineOut is a new and exciting online magazine for Young Adults produced by the Good Reading team. It is a special place for Young Adults (YA's) to express their ideas and thoughts and to share their creativity in words, art, film or music.

Our school has subscribed to SpineOut. Students are encouraged to be part of this new fun online resource by submitting reviews of newly published YA books that we provide, book trailers, poems, short stories, music lyrics, videos and art work.

The aim is for Young Adults to take this magazine on as their own, feeling free to express themselves in whichever form they wish, and then to experience the thrill of being published.

Good Reading is an Australian monthly magazine and website dedicated to books and reading. Good Reading aims to introduce readers to new and previously published books and authors, all reviewed and discussed by independent writers and reviewers.

Good Reading's user friendly website extends its aim to be 'Everything about Books' by providing not only a central place for book lovers to find useful information such as first chapters, reading group notes or book events, but also a place for readers to exchange thoughts and ideas. Their goal is to help you find your next good read and to encourage you to try new authors and genres.

Books With Bite This website is a good source of information on books and reading for Young Adults. Links are available to genres for Contemporary, Thriller and Sci-Fi and Paranormal and Fantasy.
