Holly Black is an American writer and editor best known for her children's and young adult fiction. She grew up in New Jersey and loved reading and writing as a child. After studying at university Holly considered becoming a librarian, but her love of writing led her in another direction.
Holly has worked with other authors and illustrators to publish many series collaborations.
Holly lives in New England with her husband, son, and cats, in a house with a secret library.
